I am beer.

I like queer.

-Record scratch-

“They like snatch?”

I was thinking,

when I was drinking,

how fun it’d be,

to play on me.

I am queer.

I like beer.

When I drink,

I do think,

All the time,

Sober or inebriated — I can rhyme.

Is it good?

Stand up, I could.

Talkin’ bout the poem,

Silly brain of foam!

Oh, the lyric, the line.

Fork it with the good tine.

Am I done?

Yeah. It was fun (for me, teehee.).

*Final note: Fortune Feimster, the comedian, inspired this poem. On Feimster’s IG account, they took a fake news blurb about a COVID-19 vaccine turning people gay and turnt it up in a positive light. Fortune wanted a double vaccine (to double up on the gay) and so do I, comedian, so. do. I. We should all be so lucky!
