Mathematics for Girls and Women

Before girls

are taught

subtraction

and division,

we learn to

reduce and

divide the sisterhood.

Judging each

other on appearance,

what the neighborhood gossip says about the “situation at home,”

how popular one is,

what side of town we come from…

Let’s start

with the women and unlearn

judgments while adding

similarities

relating to our fellow

sisters

thereby

multiplying shared

experiences,

while blurring

in-group and out-group

boundaries.

Then, the girls

will learn

early on before arithmetic lessons begin

how to

increase and exponentially grow

a loving, kind sisterhood.
