Long ago, it was written as a cautionary tale
to Mothers of Fire and Daughters of Water
to heed the elements of their celestial signs
for Mothers of Fire to raise their Daughters of Water
would be an exercise in humility and restraint.
For Mothers of Fire have a tendency to heat
and blaze quickly,
while Daughters of Water have a tendency to surge
and diffuse.
In order to bolster each other and not extinguish,
nor diminish each other,
it is important for each to learn how to
balance and how to pace their energies.
For when they work together balanced and paced,
extraordinary meals and respites are made,
and natural wonders created.
