Punctuating My Ending

a sensual lesson in grammar and formula

My thighs parentheseize your face,

cradling,

as your tongue and finger

punctuate my ending

with period and exclamation.

You move from sentences

crawling up my supine body

to create an equation

where we are the equals sign.

Where each side of the formula

gives and receives

totaling

a mess of you and me

in me and on you.

Black, white, and gray image of a book page of formulas with a black magnifying glass over some of the equations.
