The Season Begins to Cool

The season begins to cool

as my desire for you grows.

Something about the harvest

stirs me.

The fall chill

drives me to your warm embrace.

Apples, cinnamon, cider, and spice

remind me to savor our love

and your decadent body.

I want to hungrily nibble,

lap up, and devour you.

The season begins to cool

but my voracity for you swells.

A silhouette of a pair of people embracing on a beach the view is from the ground up. The sun is setting in the background over a body of water. Twigs lie in the foreground.
