The Weeping Bird Cries

Fly, Flying ever so, high,

the weeping bird cries

to be heard by many

it seems; as a menace

to the many that don’t know

its pain.

Fly, Flying ever so, high,

the weeping bird cries

its agonizing cries

are a noise of annoyance

to ones who don’t understand.

Fly, Flying ever so, high,

the weeping bird cries

you take a flint

and pelt him down

all his pain is somehow gone.

And now ironic as this occurrence,

the weeping bird is happy.

Fly, Flying ever so, high,

the weeping bird cries

the weeping bird in a cloud of mercy; soars

it is rejoined; once again

Fly, Flying ever so, high,

the weeping bird cries

soar to your highest, weeping bird

you’re free to fly away.
