I have been told

I give too much
Am aggressive too much
Curse too much
Over the top too much
Take up too much physical space
Was loud too much
So, I best balance it out
By withdrawing
Ghosting
Evading
So as to be needed
To be wanted
Making space for desire
Playing the game
And realizing compassion fatigue is too much.
And the shrinking of my authentic self is too much.
And the bullshit of living the good ‘ol boys’ way is too much.
